Rick L. Hernández

Rick L. Hernández brings nearly 25 years of experience in marketing, sales, management and communications to Bauzá & Associates as new Business Director. A business graduate of the Universidad Interamericana, Rick began his career with the Orlando Sentinel where he managed the publication's Hispanic market outreach and advertising initiatives. His efforts to make the business grow lead him to the idea of launching "El Sentinel", a Spanish-language newspaper for the Hispanic community in Central Florida. Rick also served as the General Manager of La Prensa Newspaper, where he was in charge of all the operations and departments of the company and as Community/Public Relations Director for Cooperativa Seguros Múltiples of P.R., Inc., where he was responsible for all business and community relations and strategic initiatives. Also, he has been community/public relations and Advisory Board Chairperson for the Polytechnic University of Puerto Rico's Orlando Campus.

He is a member and past president of the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Metro Orlando and has served on the boards of numerous organizations including the Orlando Regional Chamber, Hispanic Heritage Scholarship Fund of Metro Orlando and the YMCA of Central Florida.
